Greetings!
Happy New Year to our wonderful members and friends of the Syracuse Press Club.
What a year of news we had in 2022. From the start-stop development of I-81, to Micron’s historic investment in Central New York, to President Joe Biden’s visit to Syracuse, there’s been no lack of exciting news to cover in our area. As always, your local stories reflect the remarkable human spirit and exciting growth in Central and Upstate New York.
The work you do remains critical as ever to informing your communities.
We are grateful for your membership, which makes it possible for us to host the annual Syracuse Press Club Awards, to manage the Syracuse Journalism Lab and provide scholarships to aspiring journalists from CNY.
We were thrilled to see many of you at our September media mixer, and we look forward to hosting more events in the coming year. You can easily renew your membership on our website for 2023 — annual dues are still only $25/year.
We look forward to celebrating the best of local journalism from 2022 at our Syracuse Press Club Awards Banquet this spring. Our awards contest opens on Jan. 3. (Members get one free entry to our contest!)
Until then, the Syracuse Press Club board wishes you and yours a happy and healthy 2023 full of spectacular stories.
