On BetterNewspaperContest.com, click “Contestant Login.”
If you manage entries for a news organization, log in using the “Contestant Manager” option.
If you are a freelancer or entering independently, select “Authorized Entrant.”
Select “2019 SPC Professional Recognition Awards” from the dropdown menu.
Select your news organization or name.
If yours is not listed, please contact the awards coordinator.
Use temporary password “bnc” to login.
The system will prompt you to create a new password, provide updated contact information and agree to terms of service.
Click “My Contests” then “Submit Entry.”
Review Rules & Eligibility before submitting.
Once you’ve begun submitting entries, website admin will send an email with a validation link, which must be confirmed to continue.
After content is uploaded and/or links have been entered, click next. You will then be asked to provide credits or bylines, and comments if applicable. Please keep comments to 100 words or less.
MAKE A PAYMENT: After you have submitted entries, you will be sent back to this site for payment.
NOTE: Entries will not be judged unless full payment has been received by the Syracuse Press Club before Jan. 31, 2020.
