According to iHeartMedia, Mark Wainwright has been named permanent Morning Drive Host at Newsradio 570 WSYR.

Wainwright did his first morning show at 570 WSYR in March of 2013, and soon became the designated fill-in host for veteran morning personality, Joe Galuski. When Joe was diagnosed with cancer in September of 2014, Mark hosted the show throughout most of Galuski's illness, and continued as a guest host after Joe's death in May.

“Mark Wainwright has become a familiar voice to our listeners and he has developed great relationships with our staff and clients,” said Rich Lauber, iHeartMedia Senior Vice President of Programming.

Wainwright spent more than 25 years as a morning personality, talk show host, and on-air personality at many respected radio stations around the country.
