WCNY-TV, the Public Broadcasting Station in Syracuse was recently honored by the New York State Broadcasters  Association with two of its Awards for Excellence.  WCNY's Central Issues with George Kilpatrick and Chris Xaver was honored as Best Public Affairs Program, Pete Spartano is the Executive Producer.  WCNY was also honored for Best Documentary for its program Immigrants in the Lead:  the Story of New York.  Susan Arbetter served as writer.producer and Pete Spartano as Executive Producer.
