WRVO Sets Transition Date
Written by Lou Gulino
Friday, 27 February 2009 00:00

On March 25th the torch will be passed at Oswego's public radio station, WRVO.  That's when  Jason Smith will take over the reins of the local portion of Morning Edition. Jason Smith will take over the reins of Morning Edition on The WRVO Stations starting March 25th.  Jason has been WRVO’s morning news producer since January 2008.  Listeners will hear Jason periodically over the coming weeks during a brief transitional period.

"If none of us ever read a book that was “dangerous,” had a friend who was “different” or joined an organization that advocated “change,” we would all be just the kind of people Joe McCarthy wants. Whose fault is that? Not really [McCarthy’s]. He didn’t create this situation of fear. He merely exploited it, and rather successfully."
